PRIVACY POLICY FOR AIRPORT CAR STORAGE
Airport Car Storage respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This page describes Airport Car Storage's Consumer Data Privacy Policy, that is, how we protect your privacy and treat your data when you submit personal information to us. Airport Car Storage online booking form consists of a number of fields that you are asked to fill in. Some of them are compulsory, others optional. The required fields are:
Personal Details
- Email address
- Name
- I.D. - Drivers License / Passport
- Contact Telephone numbers
- Address
Vehicle Details
- Registration Number
- Make
- Model
- Year
- Colour
Booking Details
- Drop off and Pick up times
- Location of vehicle
- Whether you have a spare key
During the booking process, all the above form fields are marked with an asterisk (*) and are required to proceed with the car storage service. Personal, Vehicle and Booking information is required for operational and accounting purposes only. Your information will not be passed on or shown to third parties not involved in the transaction. Email addresses are used as an identifier and a source of contact for Airport Car Storage, and will not be used or contribute to spam or sending you any unsolicited information.
If you want to pay with a credit card, you have to give the following information:
- Full name
- Credit card number
- Expiry date of credit card
- Credit card verification
The credit card information is sent directly to our payment provider Westpac who processes your payment. Payment transactions have a high level of security as described in the Security Capabilities and Policies section below.

Security Capabilities And Policies
Your credit card details are sent directly to Airport Car Storage's payment provider Westpac Bank Australia (visit www.westpac.com.au for more information) over a secure SSL-encrypted connection. Booking payments through www.westpac.com.au are not processed on our servers at any stage of the transaction. Airport Car Storage employees do not have access to credit card details supplied electronically unless pre-arranged with Airport Car Storage.
At all times, payment details handled on the www.westpac.com.au server are done over a 128-bit encrypted connection.
Airport Car Storage Refund Policy
Section 74 of the trade practices Act 1974 implies the following terms into contracts for services covered by the act:
- That services will be rendered with due care or skill
- That any materials supplied in connection with those services will be reasonably fit for the purpose for which they are supplied.
Airport Car storage reserves the right to charge the customer for all services that were rendered with due care and skill, although will refund for any services that is in breach of the trade practices act 1974.
For a claim to be made; a written notice, signed by the customer, must be submitted by the customer giving particulars of the breach of condition.
